​the least of these... a different approach to workforce & citizenship

"​The Least OF These" Initiative is a unique and community-based education and economic initiative that focuses on basic life-skills, character development, education, community accountability, personal/communication, soft skills needed to enter the workforce and employment market and community engagement. Our goal is to transform lives through employment and economic development, especially for those living in under-served and marginal communities. We will offer temporary employment and job referrals.

We assist them with the following:

1. Finding sustainable employment opportunities through referrals and relationships and collaborations in the workforce and workplace.  
2. Locating housing options so that they begin their lives a new
3. Assist them with the necessary and proper tools for them to build and/or reestablish positive relationships with their families
4. Provide a safe space and ongoing referrals, for them to gain life and professional skills, workshops and support groups to participate in 
5. Encourage and share Job-training, certification programs, other resources and referrals to equip them for careers in today's workforce
6. Provide and assist with building and maintaining long-lasting professional relations that warrant workforce collaborations with various employers, small businesses, agencies and community developers to obtain gainful employment while rebuilding family stability; become self-sufficient and thriving productive citizens.
